About The Mini Recollective

The Mini Recollective is an online children’s clothing and accessories consignment store. We curate, photograph, list, and sell items on behalf of consignors.

By using our website or submitting items for consignment, you agree to these Terms of Service.

Accepted Items

We accept items that are:

  • Clean, freshly washed, and free from strong odours

  • In excellent to play pre-loved condition

  • Free from stains, holes, or excessive wear

  • Authentic and compliant with NZ safety standards

We reserve the right to decline any items that do not meet our quality standards.

Consignment Commission

  • Consignors receive 60% of the final sale price.

  • The Mini Recollective retains 40% to cover processing, photography, listing, storage, marketing, and selling costs.

  • Commission is calculated on the final sale price, including any discounts applied at checkout.

Sales & Promotions

  • The Mini Recollective may run store-wide or item-specific sales and promotions from time to time.

  • Consignors will still receive their full 60% commission, even when items are sold at a discounted promotional price (this does not include the post 60 day clearance section).

  • The cost of promotions and discounts is absorbed by The Mini Recollective and does not reduce the consignor’s commission percentage (this does not include the post 60 day clearance section).

Pricing & Discounts

  • Pricing is determined by The Mini Recollective based on brand, condition, seasonality, and demand.

  • Discounts do not require prior approval from consignors.

Selling Period & Unsold Items

  • Items are listed for a selling period of 90 days.

  • For the last 30 days, the item will be in the clearance section with a discount of 20% (this is deducted from the total sale price and absorbed by both the consignor and The mini recollective.
  • Unsold items at the end of the selling period may be donated, or returned at the request of the consignor.

  • Return shipping fees apply if items are requested to be sent back.

Payouts to Consignors

  • Payouts are processed once an item has sold and the customer return period has passed.

  • Payments are made via bank transfer.

  • Payouts are issued on a fortnightly basis.

  • A minimum payout threshold of $20 NZD applies.

Rejected Items

  • Items that do not meet our standards may be donated unless return shipping is requested and paid for.

  • The Mini Recollective is not responsible for rejected items that are not returned.

Liability

  • While all reasonable care is taken, The Mini Recollective is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage of items once they are in our possession.

  • Items are sent to us at the consignor’s own risk.
